At ESMS, we offer unrivalled creative opportunities for our boys and girls to express themselves through music, drama and dance. Our extensive Music and Drama programme earned us the 2023 Independent Schools of the Year Award in the Performing Arts, Music and Drama category.
Whether it is representing the school and Edinburgh as the official The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo choir, as we have done for the last five years, appearing in a professional West End touring musical or international operas as children from the schools have done over 800 times, appearing in one of the 40 concerts, musicals, dance events and dramatic productions in school each session or being involved in more than 50 choirs, orchestras, ensembles and bands at school, every child has the chance to shine.
