Our e-Plus service provides childcare before and after school for families at ESMS, in Edinburgh. This role involves working with our friendly team, running fun activities for our 3–8-year-olds, and supporting our Nursery and P1s at lunchtime.

This is a hybrid role with two main functions. As an After School & Holiday Club Practitioner, you will be responsible for the out of school care of children from Nursery to P3. As a Food Service Assistant, you’ll support our Nursery and Primary 1 children as they enjoy hot lunches in our family style dining pods.

Range of Experience Accepted   

We are looking to fill a number of roles so whether you are currently working in a childcare environment, have qualifications in Early Years or have minimal experience (e.g. volunteering with children), we would love to hear from you. We offer fantastic training opportunities and experience for those looking to pursue a career in childcare.  

Rate of Pay 

This is a permanent post for 31.25 hours per week during term time and 26.25 hours per week on a rota basis during holiday periods as a Holiday Club Practitioner. The salary range for unqualified After School & Holiday Club Pupil Practitioners/Pupil Support Assistants is £17,846 to £19,031 per annum. Qualified After School & Holiday Club Pupil Support Practitioners/Pupil Support Assistants will be paid £19,593 to £20,202 per annum.
