On Sunday 2nd February, 8 girls represented The Mary Erskine School in the Edinburgh region of the Scottish Schools Gymnastics Competition at Musselburgh Sports Centre. Kate Hamilton, Louisa Kidd, Hannah Rainey and Eve Lewis competed in Level 3 whilst Eliza Stirling, Lucie Morren, Claudia Morren and Iona Nisbet competed in Level 2. Both teams faced tough competition, especially from Craigmount High School, but did exceptionally well and were all awarded bronze medals in the combined floor and vault. This qualified the Level 3 girls to go through to the Scottish Schools Final to be held in Perth on 6th April 2014.
