What a season for the ESM FP Ladies 2s hockey team! With the help of MES pupils Siri Price, Johanna Duthie and Iona Smith they became the East of Scotland Premier League Champions, after an undefeated season. The girls have been a very welcome addition to the FP club, which has benefited from having young, fresh and fit players in the striking and midfield positions.
The season came to a conclusion at the Scottish District Cup finals, which were held at the Commonwealth Games Hockey Arena on Sunday 18th May. Despite leading 1-0 at half time, the strong Glaswegian opponents came back fighting in the second half to equalise and then score the winning goal."
