Congratulations to the Mary Erskine School 2nd XI who won the East District 2nd XI tournament on Saturday 15 March at St George's. All morning they played excellent hockey and worked well as a team to win 4 of their 5 section games against Heriot's, North Berwick, St George's 3rd XI and Dunbar scoring 6 goals and conceding none. We had a scoreless draw with Trinity to win the section. In the semi final we dominated the play against St George's and won 2-0 to set up a final against Watson's. The final as usual proved to be a very tight and tense match with no goals resulting in a penalty shoot out. The girls kept their composure and won 4-3.
