ESMS were proud to recently host a special Meet the Author event with Stan Godek, for both our community and the local community, along with Pavilion Publishing and Luminate. Stan joined us for an engaging and insightful evening to discuss his new book 'Managing Stress and Distress. How to Help, Understand and Support Children and Young People'. At ESMS we have been privileged to have worked with Stan over many years as he has supported staff and parents in helping reduce stress and anxiety in their children.
Claire Macpherson, Director of Pastoral Care, introduced Stan and gave a précis of the difference Stan has made with his work. Stan then outlined what can cause anxiety, discussed ways to manage this and gave an overview of how his book can help, before answering audience questions.
