Last week The Sunday Times published the Scottish Independent Secondary School League Tables in which The Mary Erskine School, on account of results at National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher and according to the manner in which these were evaluated by The Sunday Times, came first in Scotland, up from second in 2015, while Stewart’s Melville College came eleventh, up from sixteenth in 2015.
We are pleased to summarise the public examination results below:

The results are the consequence of some excellent, inspirational teaching and sustained application of effort by many hundreds of committed young people. They are to be congratulated on their achievements, which set a fine example for the boys and girls who face public examinations at the end of 2016/2017. They can do it too!
