On Sunday 8 June Mary Erskine girls Charlotte Gallacher (S4) and Alison Gourley (S3) took two out of five available prizes for Highland Dancing at this year's Scottish Schools' CCF Highland Dancing and Pipes and Drums Competition which took place at Merchiston Castle School. Alison was placed first in seven out of eight of her dances and will now move up to complete in the next category in the competition next year.
All of the girls competing this year have shown great dedication and year-round commitment to the pursuit and we look forward to hearing more of their successes in the future.
