Looking for a fun summer holiday activity for your child? Join us this summer for our 2024 Hockey and Rugby Holiday Camps where your child will enjoy sessions led by highly qualified coaches.
Our hockey camps will focus on:
- Developing basic hockey skills, including ball carrying, passing, and defensive skills
- Developing advanced skills such as 3D skills and goal scoring
- Improve tactical and game understanding
Our rugby camps will focus on:
- Developing core rugby skills, techniques and tactics
- Improving understanding of the game
- Tips on how to improve off field
- Video analysis workshops
- Nutrition Workshop
- How to work as part of a team
- Individual Player Development sessions to help players work towards their own personal goal.
Your child will be in safe hands with qualified first aiders and coaches who are fully PVG accredited.
Where and when do the camps take place?
The camps will take place 12th to 16th August and will be based across Mary Erskine Hockey Astro and at Stewart's Melville hockey and rugby pitch at Inverleith Playing Fields. Please check specific camps for locations.
Who are the camps for?
The camps are suitable for players of all hockey and rugby experience, whether just starting out, or if they have been playing for years. The hockey camps are open to all and the rugby camps are for ESMS pupils only. The camps are available from Primary 5 to S6 for the upcoming school year (2024/25).
