On Monday 5th October, Stewart's Melville College and Inspire Sport hosted FC Porto coaches and more than 60 children, their teachers and coaches, from all over Scotland in a fantastic football development roadshow. The FC Porto coaches conducted skill sessions and coaching drills with teachers and football coaches and delved into the world of sport psychology, and the dynamics and passion it takes to truly help cultivate and nurture the creative football potential of young players.
The children taking part received coaching from the FC Porto Academy coaches in the morning and participated in a tournament in the afternoon. Our 4 boys who took part had a fantastic day, greatly impressed the Porto coaches and were even interviewed by STV!
