ESMS Year Highlights

Posted on 16th Dec 2024 in ESMS

Last year our students across the Nursery, Junior and Senior Schools embraced every aspect of school life with enthusiasm and determination. Their academic results were excellent with The Mary Erskine School and Stewart's Melville College ranking third and tenth among Scotland's top independent schools in The Sunday Times Parent Power Guide 2025. We are equally proud of their accomplishments beyond the classroom - from sports and performing arts to outdoor learning and clubs, our students demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication. Here are a few of our highlights:

Our Academic Results

Leavers' Destinations

5 students ventured overseas to Paris, Hong Kong, New York and Canada. 37 went down south to universities including Cambridge, Durham and Kings College London. 191 chose to study at top-tier Scottish institutions, including the University of Edinburgh, the University of Glasgow and University of St Andrews. The courses they chose were wide ranging, including everything from Law, Medicine and Zoology to Product Design Engineering, Neuroscience and Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.

Extra-curricular Activities

From Music, Drama and Dance to Sport, Outdoor Learning and Clubs, there were so many opportunities for our students to get involved in extra-curricular activities.

Community Involvement

Together our students raised £43,325 for charity and volunteered a huge amount of their time to support their local communities.

Awards

Well done to all our students and a huge thank you to all our staff for their tireless dedication and commitment. We can't wait to see what 2025 has in store!
