Congratulations to SMC golf team captain Eric McIntosh who achieved his biggest win so far in the junior golfing ranks after a spectacular performance that saw him win the Scottish Boys Amateur Championships. Eric brings the cup back to the Lothians for the first time since 2010 when recent GB&I Walker Cup player, Grant Forrest (FP) won the cup. Eric said after the tournament "It feels amazing, I did not expect to be sitting here with the trophy this week. It was a very tight match but I holed a lot of putts at crucial times which kept me a nice two-up cushion and it was great to sink the putt to win it, what a feeling." Eric has his eye on the Order of Merit next and we wish him the best of luck!
