With more than 100 clubs available, involving over 630 girls and boys and 51 members of staff from Monday to Friday each week, there's something for everyone.
Clubs and societies provide children with opportunities to have fun, develop new talents and make new friends and there's a huge amount to choose from with everything from Hillwalking, Gymnastics and Swimming to Warhammer, Puppet Making and Street Dance.
Boys and girls are encouraged to be committed beyond the classroom and to participate in the very wide range of extra-curricular activities offered. Academic progress and the ongoing work in the classroom is of fundamental importance but the Junior School values reflect the fact that we want our children to grow as children as well as pupils. To this end girls and boys are encouraged to take part in all that we provide for them outwith the normal school curriculum.
In addition, all children in Primary 3 participate in two blocks of fifteen different clubs, including a Science Club and a Spanish Club, supported by 24 members of staff. Ballet classes are offered to children from the Nursery to Primary 7. Modern dance, jazz and tap, street and ballroom are also provided.
There's sure to be something to suit every child.
